There’s a NEW way to save money at Walmart!
Here’s how: *hopefully my phone’s screen shots will help
On your phone, go to your “Apps” and download the “Walmart App – Savings Catcher, ” onto your phone and open.
Sign into your Walmart account. If you do not have one you will need to create one.
Click “More” in the bottom right corner. Then click “Savings Catcher and eReceipts.”
Click “Scan a Reciept,” and scan the bar code at the bottom of your store receipt. Must be a Walmart receipt that’s less than 7 days old.
They will compare prices. Savings Catcher scans circulars from top competitors in your area for advertised deals that match the eligible items on your receipt.
You get the difference. If savings Catcher finds a lower advertised price, you get the difference!
To redeem your Savings Catcher Rewards Dollars:
You can choose to transfer your Savings Catcher Rewards Dollars to a Walmart Rewards eGift Card that you can use at any Walmart store or on Walmart.com.
When you choose to transfer your available Savings Catcher balance, a Walmart Rewards eGift Card will be sent to the email address connected to your account. All Savings Catcher credits, or Rewards Dollars will always be loaded onto the same Walmart Rewards eGift Card so you don’t need to keep track of multiple cards.
To use your Walmart Rewards eGift Card, simply print out the email with the barcode and hand it to the cashier at a Walmart store, or enter the Walmart Rewards eGift Card number and pin on Walmart.com.
For more info about this new way to save money, click “About Savings Catcher,” at the bottom of the “Savings Catcher & eReceipts” page or click HERE.
I scanned my Walmart receipt from Sunday, that included items I price matched. This app found another $.35!
I am not sure yet how thorough this app is as fas as, if they would look through the smaller store’s ads in the area, such as Murfin’s Market and Harter House and if they would price match “Murfin’s Dollar” items and Store Brand items, etc like some Walmart stores in the area, allow. Here are some items it lists that Savings Catcher does and does not compare prices for.
*****Because of this, I personally, will still be price matching as normal to still be able to price match items it will not and use this app to catch anything that I missed!
There is a “FAQ” section and if you click on “Does Savings Catcher compare all items on my receipt?,” under “Matching,” it tells what items are included.
